Note: Idaho is one of the strictest states for hemp-derived products. Only CBD products with absolutely zero THC are permitted. HB 879 (2026, effective July 1, 2026) updated the industrial hemp program (Idaho Code §22-1701 et seq.), but Idaho's zero-THC controlled-substances definition (Idaho Code 37-2701(t)) remains in force. Idaho sets no statutory hemp age minimum. Tinctures and topicals are marked restricted because only 0% THC CBD-only products in those forms may be sold. Possessing any THC product, even hemp-derived, can result in criminal charges.
