Full federal ban details →Note: SB 494 (2024, effective Oct 1, 2024) imposes a total-THC standard, bans retail hemp flower and pre-rolls (OCGA § 2-23-4), limits sales to licensed retailers for buyers 21+, and caps products at 10 mg per serving and 300 mg per container, with hemp beverages limited to 10 mg per 12 oz. SB 33 (2026, effective May 11, 2026) targets synthesized cannabinoids such as HHC with a phase-out toward 2027. Georgia has no licensed adult-use cannabis system.
